As part of the Wellington Festival, the children of Dothill Primary School have been completing an interesting new project. Each child and member of staff (400 plus) have painted, on a stone, the image of a plant or animal that can be found on the reserve. Aided by the Friends the stones have been glued to a board in the image of the nature reserve. The finished art piece will be displayed in the grounds of the school.

I think a water pipe or sewage pipe was supported on those blocks many years ago, they look pre war.
