As part of the Wellington Festival 2018, each pupil and staff member of Dothill Primary School painted, on a stone, a plant or animal found on the Nature Reserve. The stones were then glued to a board in the shape of the Reserve. The finished piece is displayed in the school grounds (see next pic).

I think a water pipe or sewage pipe was supported on those blocks many years ago, they look pre war.
